Professional Bio
My name is Sarah Collison and I'm a Senior studying Advertising at Iowa State University with minors in Psychology and Design Studies! I'm grateful to have had a wonderful past three years of college, despite the pandemic, where I have gained valuable knowledge and experiences in advertising and communication. Throughout my college career I have been active in the ISU Advertising Club through serving as the Risk Manager. Ad Club has taught me to actively think creatively and put my best effort into projects. I currently have two internships under my belt in the communication field that have aided in my path to enter the advertising field. I'm excited to continue studying, working, learning from my peers, and hopefully attaining an internship in the advertising industry.

Personal Bio
I was born and raised on a small acreage outside of the very small town Rowley, IA. I attended high school at East Buchanan about 17 miles from my home. The bus rides were long, but the community was well worth the drive. I graduated from high school in 2019 as the Valedictorian.
My family had always been big Iowa State fans, as my dad attended for his bachelors in the late 80s. Growing up we would attend all of the home football games and partake in tailgating and the festivities. And so it came as no surprise when I also showed interest in attending ISU.
In college, I try to keep very busy with activities and extra curriculars. Along with Ad Club, I am also active in the ISU Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, and Service Club while maintaining my part-time job and internship. I find that service is one of the most important values to me, and that these activities aid me to fulfill my service to the community.
With all of my activities, I always keep my passion for advertising at the forefront of it all.
